The app doesn't ask me to sign in — is that normal?
Yes. Bannmeile has no account of any kind. It opens straight onto the map board and everything you do is saved automatically, only on your own device.
I lost my progress after reinstalling the app.
Because Bannmeile stores your Walz entirely on-device and never in the cloud, deleting the app or restoring a phone without an iOS backup will also remove your save. Restoring from an iCloud or Finder backup of your device brings it back, since the app's data is included in ordinary device backups.
A road, town or job seems to be behaving oddly.

Can I play without music or sound?
Yes. Settings has separate toggles for music, sound effects and haptics, and each choice is remembered.
Does the app use my photos for anything else?
No. A photo you add to your Wanderbuch is only ever used inside the app, on your device. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
